Strikes at Spanish Airports Called Off

A planned work stoppage in Spain was called off prior to Easter, sending approximately 60,000 ground support staff back to their jobs.

According to a report from Euro Weekly News, unions made progress in negotiations with employer Aseata ahead of it's plan to strike during the holiday wekend. Negotiations will continue today.

People traveling to and from Spain avoided further disruption when a separate strike by Air Nostrum pilots was called off, according to El Pais.
