Swissport And Cargolux Sign Agreement For Global Strategic Partnership

Effective 2015, Swissport will provide cargo and ramp handling services for Cargolux, Europe’s largest all-cargo airline, at selected stations all over the world as the company’s preferred supplier.

Swissport International (Swissport), the world´s largest provider of ground and cargo handling services to the aviation industry, and Cargolux Airlines International S.A. have signed an agreement regarding a global strategic partnership. As of January 2015, Swissport will be the preferred supplier of Cargolux and provide the company with cargo and ramp handling services at selected destinations. Shared clients of Swissport and Cargolux will benefit from further improved quality standards.

Effective 2015, Swissport will provide cargo and ramp handling services for Cargolux, Europe’s largest all-cargo airline, at selected stations all over the world as the company’s preferred supplier. The cooperation between Swissport and Cargolux covers a five-year period and extends to stations in Europe and the US. Further destinations are to follow in the near future.

The aim in teaming up the world’s leading ground and cargo handling provider with Europe’s largest cargo airline is to further improve quality standards at the respective stations in a joint effort to provide shared customers with best-of-breed cargo services across the globe. The two companies will closely cooperate to expand their global network in a coordinated effort.
