United Ground Express to Hold Hiring Event at Monterey Regional Airport
MONTEREY — United Ground Express, a subsidiary of United Airlines, is looking to hire people interested in employment opportunities that include paid training, paid time off and flight privileges.

United Ground Express will be holding its hiring event at Monterey Regional Airport from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, in the main terminal building’s center.
“The location for the hiring event will be across from the TSA checkpoint on the first floor,” said Monterey Regional Airport Executive Director Mike LaPier. “Currently the area is being used for seating. We will move the seating so tables can be installed temporarily.”
United Ground Express said that employees can enjoy their time off from work by traveling the world aboard United Airlines’ global network as employees and their family members are eligible for free standby travel and discounted tickets to explore destinations beyond the airport.
