Groundforce Strike Impacts Flights at Gran Canaria

Delays occurred at the Gran Canaria airport prompted by the first day of strike action by employees of Groundforce, according to a report from Aviation24.be.

According to the report, the 12-hour strike impacted nearly all of the 20 flights serviced by the ground handling company. Aviation24.be also reported the intermittent strike has been called by union members in an effort to achieve improvement in working conditions.
