A bitter pay dispute between the Unite union and Heathrow bosses could lead to six days of strike action on some of the busiest days at Europe's busiest airport this summer.

More than 4,000 staff members at Heathrow Airport are to strike just as the school holidays begin.

A bitter pay dispute between the Unite union and Heathrow bosses could lead to six days of strike action on some of the busiest days at Europe's busiest airport this summer.

Security guards, engineers, passenger service drivers and passenger service operatives, believed to be baggage handlers, are among the workers who voted for the strike action in eight separate ballots, Unite said on Friday (July 12).
