Luton Baggage Handlers Vote to Strike

According to the Unite union, 96 percent of those who took part in the ballot voted in favor of strike action.

Baggage handlers and check-in staff employed by GH London Ground Handling Services (formerly Azzurra Ground Handling) at the UK's Luton Airport have voted to strike for seven days from Sunday March 3 over the company's decision to impose a pay freeze. According to the Unite union, 96 per cent of those who took part in the ballot voted in favour of strike action.
