Airport ground handling workers that have been on strike at Berlin's airports will not stage further action this week in order to allow negotiations with their employers to continue, according to a Reuters report.

The report states that the latest walkout, which is due to end Wednesday, will be the last action taken this week.

The strikes staged by approximately 2,000 ground staff have caused several flights to and from Berlin’s Schönefeld and Tegel airports this week to be canceled.
