Nov. 18, 2019

Jet Aviation announces the launch of its new De-Icing service in Zurich, effective immediately. The Zurich FBO has two brand new De-Icing trucks and a dedicated team that has completed de-icing training. The service is being launched in partnership with the Allen Groupe.

Jet Aviation recently invested in two new de-icing trucks for its FBO facility in Zurich. In partnership with the Allen Groupe, the company has also trained and certified 14 employees to provide de-icing services. With its dedicated team of trained professionals, Jet Aviation’s FBO in Zurich can now support state-of-the-art deicing services for all airline and general aviation aircraft types.

“While the weather in any given week is always unpredictable, winters in Zurich can be harsh,” says Joao Martins, general manager of Jet Aviation’s FBO facility in Zurich. “Our new de-icing service helps ensure aircraft can safely surmount operational obstacles and fly as scheduled. We are delighted to expand our capabilities with this news service.”

The Zurich FBO has already begun booking customers for WEF in January 2020 and is working closely with its Aircraft Management and Charter colleagues to ensure seamless service for all its customers. To ensure it can support more parking possibilities for the surge of business during WEF, it is also currently in negotiations for additional hangarage access.

Jet Aviation is exhibiting at the Dubai Airshow from November 17 - 21, 2019. Please take the time to visit the Jet Aviation Chalet (#A11).
