Paul Sundby Appointed to NFPA 407 Technical Committee

American Environmental Aviation(AEAV) announced that Paul Sundby, vice president of sales, has been appointed to the NFPA 407 Technical Committee.

“It is very gratifying to be chosen to be on the NFPA Committee”, he said. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on the various safety and quality control issues that the aviation fueling industry must address in the coming years.”

With over 20 years of experience in the design and manufacture of aviation fueling equipment, the NFPA 407 committee has accepted Sundby’ s application to be part of the committee that establishes and reviews codes that directly relate to safe fueling operations at commercial airports and FBO’s throughout the United States.  NFPA 407 is a committee that sets the standard in both the design of the equipment for fueling aircraft as well as the operations to keep personnel safe.

NFPA is an organization that is part of a small but significant group which serves the public through the creation of standards that promotes reliability, interoperability and quality thus bringing economic benefits to the country.
