WV: President of Yeager Airport's Private Terminal Company Pleads Guilty

The president of a private air terminal company said it was “my own ignorance” that led to barrels filled with hazardous waste being stored at Yeager Airport and twice moved from the airport before federal investigators found the waste.

Brian Scott Miller, president of Executive Air Terminal Inc., pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Thursday morning to felony storage of hazardous waste without a permit.

As a company, Executive Air also was charged as a defendant on its own count of storing hazardous waste without a permit, and Miller also pleaded guilty on behalf of the company during back-to-back hearings before U.S. District Judge Joseph R. Goodwin.
