The City of Madisonville now has fuel service at the Municipal Airport, a step in an ongoing process to improve service and the economy.
City Manager Camilla Viator said it was not offered at all previously, but now, allowing planes to pull up and refuel, and pay using a credit card, will be a boost to the city.
This is in addition to the recent grant awarded to the city, which will allow for the resurfacing of the runway and extending the apron.
