LYNNWOOD, Wash – May 9, 2016 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics received the Silver Supplier of the Year award from Airbus at this year’s Supply Chain and Quality Improvement Program (SQIP) event in Toulouse, France.
The annual SQIP event recognizes top suppliers for their performance in key metrics such as On-Time Delivery, Quality (PPM), and Quality Service Reports. Crane earned the Supplier of the Year award for achieving or beating targets for all three metrics.
Crane provides a broad variety of products to Airbus on the A320 family, A330 family, and A380 aircraft. Products include the A320 Landing Gear Control and Indication Unit, the A330 Proximity Sensor Control Unit, the A380 Proximity Sensor Interface Card, and related proximity sensors and targets for all three programs.
