Clinton, MO – February 14, 2014 – Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) recently announced they received Mexican approval for the installation of their STC approved King Air Aft Jump Seat Kits on all Beechcraft King Air models.
AvFab received EASA approval on installation for all 100, 200, and 300 (including the 350) series King Air Aft Jump Seat Kits in April 2010. In addition, AvFab has U.S., Brazil and Indonesian STC approval for the seats.
The jump seats fold down from the side wall of the aircraft in the aft baggage compartment. The seats are interchangeable with the OEM jump seat and can utilize the existing OEM installation hardware. If the aircraft has not been previously equipped, the AvFab kit can be used to make the installation.
“It’s important to the AvFab mission that we do our best to support the King Air in as many corners of the world as we can,” said GR Lowe, CEO, AvFab. “Operators in Mexico will now be able to realize the significant versatility advantage of adding our Aft Jump Seat Kits to their aircraft.”
The kit includes all installation hardware, brackets, parts, the seat (un-upholstered), complete restraint system, life vest, overhead lights, vents, oxygen drop-downs, and installation instructions. AvFab generally has kits in stock and available for immediate world-wide shipment.
