AEM Wins ASL Airlines Belgium Landing Gear Contract

STANSTED AIRPORT, ESSEX - AEM Limited, a unit of AMETEK Aerospace & Defense, has signed an agreement with ASL Airlines Belgium (ASLB), the worldwide scheduled freighter operator, to supply landing gear overhaul and loan services. The 6-year contract covers ASLB’s Boeing 737-400 fleet.

AEM carries out the overhaul of landing gear at its facility in Ramsgate, Kent. The plant includes full and comprehensive in-house machining and plating services in support of the landing gear activity.

“AEM is delighted to have been selected by ASLB to supply landing gear overhaul services. The Ramsgate team has many years of experience in providing the quality of service that ASLB demands,” comments Andy Wheeler, Commercial Director for AEM.
