Universal Avionics Arrives at NBAA-BACE 2017 With InSight® Updates

Universal Avionics is offering the Citation VII STC at no cost to the company's Authorized Dealers and Integrators performing the installation.

Las Vegas, NV - October 9, 2017 – Universal Avionics arrives at the 2017 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (BACE) with multiple updates on the InSight Display System. Following FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) authorization for the integrated flight deck solution, the company received FAA Supplemental Type Certification (STC) for the new display system installed on the Cessna Citation VII aircraft. Universal Avionics' Citation VII will be on Static Display (SD10) at Henderson Executive Airport throughout NBAA-BACE.

Universal Avionics is offering the Citation VII STC at no cost to the company's Authorized Dealers and Integrators performing the installation. FAA STC No. ST02654LA covers the installation of the InSight Display System, Engine Interface Unit (EIU), TAWS Class A, and UNS-1Fw SBAS-Flight Management System with ADS-B Out.

Additional installation and certifications programs are in development and will be completed by Authorized Dealers and Integrators.

Throughout NBAA-BACE, Universal Avionics is offering a UniLink® UL-800/801 Communications Management Unit (CMU) at no charge for any customer who places a purchase order for an InSight Display System before December 31, 2017. When integrated with the UniLink UL-800/801 CMU, InSight offers customers a path to meet future mandates and operations today with FANS 1/A+, CPDLC, and ATN B1 Data Link.
