KINGSFORD, MI (August 31, 2016) – Kubick Aviation, headquartered in Kingsford, Michigan, recently completed a successful avionics upgrade on a Cessna 441 – making this installation only the third in the nation to receive the certification.

This decades-old aircraft is one of very few in the country with dual Garmin G600 units and Genesys/S-Tec 2100 DCFS on board; thus, extending the life of the aging aircraft and bringing it to full compliance with a complete refresh of new technology.

“The customer was extremely pleased with the performance of the zero-timed auto pilot,” said Jeff Rebera, Avionics Supervisor. “This became the perfect solution for the Conquest II aircraft owner looking for an auto pilot replacement.”

One of the main benefits of this new technology is the safety in adverse flying conditions. Recently, the synthetic vision was used for a flight to South America over mountainous regions. By equipping this aircraft with the latest advancements and technology, including full ADS-B In and Out compliance, Situational Awareness and complete auto-pilot solutions, we’ve breathed new life into an aircraft with more service to give.” said Chad Kubick, owner of Kubick Aviation.

About Kubick Aviation

Kubick Aviation Services, Inc. was founded by Chad Kubick in 2002. The company, located in Kingsford, Michigan, started out in aircraft maintenance. It later expanded to provide fuel services. In April, 2014 Kubick bought the assets to Superior Aviation and moved their operations into the Superior Aviation hangar. This move offered a prime location on the runway and the addition of avionics services. After acquiring Superior Aviation's assets, Chad began the process of becoming qualified by the FAA to conduct on demand air charter services. It had taken a full year, however UP North Airways, a division of Kubick Aviation, has air carrier certification for three different aircraft. http://www.kubickaviation.com/
