Women in Aviation International acknowledges today’s sad news that Matthew Zuccaro, the immediate past president and CEO of Helicopter Association International, has passed away. HAI has been a long-time WAI supporter as a corporate member as well as an exhibitor and participant at WAI conferences and events.
“I want to personally extend my condolences to Matt’s wife, Doreen, and his family, as I had the privilege of working for Matt at the HAI Foundation for over four years,” says Allison McKay, WAI CEO. “Matt’s vision and leadership as a longtime leader of HAI was critical to having a strong voice for the rotor industry. He was passionate about helicopter safety, and he will be sorely missed,” adds Allison.
