Member of the Month

The winner of the first Member of the Month award goes to Mike Molzahn. Nominations included comments such as:  “He’s been a tireless supporter of AMTSociety since its birth,”  “Only Tom (Hendershot) has attended more road shows than him,” and “I sat next to Mike at the ATL road show for the third year last month and all we talked about was our society and profession.”

He follows the mission statement of the AMTSociety: “To actively promote and protect the professional aircraft maintenance technician’s craft and profession, enhance the future of the profession, and to provide resources and benefits to its members. He attends the AMTSociety road shows and posts articles on the Forum about professionalism and helpful hints to others searching for maintenance employment. When he won the AMTSociety toolbox raffle last year, he donated it to his alma mater, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. Molzahn is employed by American Eagle Airlines at the Springfield-Branson National Airport.

The prize for winning the first Member of the Month award is one year’s membership in AMTSociety and $50 AMEX card.
