As this year soon comes to a close, many of us have already turned attention toward aviation tradeshow planning for next year. For all of us here at Cygnus Business Media, planning for AviationPros LIVE, formerly the Cygnus Aviation Expo is in full swing. Details and specific sessions will be available in the weeks ahead in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Airport Business, and Ground Support Worldwide magazines, as well as regular updates on this website.  

We are very pleased to announce that AviationPros LIVE has partnered with Boyd Group International for the 2013 event. Michael Boyd, chairman of Boyd Group International, will outline the major issues facing aviation today and provide keen insight into the best and worst outcomes for the key concerns. In addition to providing the keynote address at the show, Mr. Boyd will hold two educational sessions titled The New Skyscape and Navigating The New Future. Both of these sessions are promised to provide insight valuable to all aviation segments; general aviation, airlines, airports, and FBOs.

Of course the aircraft maintenance highlight is the ever popular AMTSociety Maintenance Skills Competition. The volunteer board members of the AMTSociety are busy planning for this premier aircraft maintenance event. The list of teams already registered for this friendly competition of maintenance tasks from all segments of aviation is growing and again several international teams will be there.
