I Hart Flying Founder Challenges Industry to Help Award Four Flight Training Scholarships to Women

Sept. 25, 2018

Want to know how I Hart Flying Founder, Rachelle Spector, is throwing a last-minute twist into their current scholarship opportunity?  By reaching into her own pocket, this week, she will match any donation up to $5,000.  These additional funds aim to assist not one, but four, deserving female pilots on their aviation journeys! We are asking industry, individuals and fellow philanthropists to accept this three-day challenge, ending midnight Sept. 26.

This is your chance to join us as a force in this industry, as this scholarship effort brings attention to the gender gap and lack of diverse talent in aviation, specifically pilots.

Have a big “Hart” like us?  Take action by going to ihartflying.org/donate now and let’s make a difference together.  No donation is too small. Every bit counts! All donations are 100 percent tax deductible.

“This is our first scholarship to challenge our followers, fans and industry to step up, make a difference, change a young woman’s life and make her flight path a reality,” says Spector. “I was given the gift of flight in 2010 which steered my passion for aviation. Now I have a chance to pay it forward to help more women explore the joy of flying while bringing our fellow partners, donors and aviation enthusiasts along for this amazing journey! Join forces with us today to help “Ignite that Magic for Flight.”
