In May, Baltic Aviation Academy, aviation training centre based in Vilnius (Lithuania) finalized the purchase contract for five new aircraft and has almost doubled its fleet and training capacity for Ab Initio School. Fleet has been expanded with four Tecnam P2002 and one Tecnam P2006 aircraft.

Together with the new fleet addition, Baltic Aviation Academy now has nine Tecnam P2002, one Cessna 172, and one multi-engine Tecnam P2006 aircraft and has become the only private aviation school to own multi-engine aircraft in Lithuania. All new aircraft will be transported to Kaunas in the beginning of June and be used for the Ab Initio School student training for the rest of the flying season. The fleet expansion will be used for over 70 Ab Initio student and flight instructor training.

“This purchase is long awaited and needed Ab Initio School fleet expansion and it will definitely help us provide a better training for our students, as the flights will become a lot more frequent and enable Ab Initio School’s student growth”, commented Agata Pradedovic, Head of Product Development Division at Baltic Aviation Academy.

Baltic Aviation Academy’s Ab Initio School students are currently taking advantage of the summer weather and conducting the flight training in Kaunas Aleksotas Aerodrome as well as taking trips outside the country. So far this season, students have flown to various cities in Lithuania, Poland, Estonia, Sweden, and the number or trips and destinations will only be increasing every day.
