Metrea is excited to announce the addition of Peregrine Avionics LLC, which will now be known as Metrea Aerospace Design (MASD).
Metrea Aerospace Design will collaborate with Metrea’s existing engineering capabilities and its maintenance, repair, and overhaul stations located in Oklahoma and Tampa. This partnership will enhance Metrea’s ability to design, develop, and modify manned assets, improving "time-to-theatre" efficiency and enabling the spiral development of new air assets. Additionally, MASD’s market experience will improve Metrea's capacity to anticipate, understand, and address unique challenges and opportunities affecting its mission partners.
“We are very excited to welcome Peregrine Avionics LLC into the Metrea team. With Metrea Aerospace Design, we are now able to leverage the much-prized capability of an ODA (Organization Designation Authorization), which enables Metrea to self-certify our aircraft designs and modifications on behalf of the FAA, further deepening our stack in key mission areas across the air domain,” said Jon ‘Ty’ Thomas, Head of Air & Space Group for Metrea.
“Peregrine is excited to be an integral part of the Metrea team. With the support of such an innovative and solution-focused organization, we look forward to growing our engineering capacity and expanding our ODA capabilities. Since our founding in 2009, it makes sense now more than ever for us to partner with a team that has the drive and focus to foster our commitment to inspiring design, efficient program management, and regulatory compliance. I am excited that we now provide a core competency to such an elite enterprise while elevating our support to legacy customers that helped lay our foundation,” said David Rankin, Head of Metrea Aerospace Design.
MASD will continue to be based in Denver, Colorado.
