Planned runway expansion at Kenosha Regional Airport isn’t about bringing in more enormous aircraft, according to director Corey Reed.
“It will not mean bigger jets. It will accommodate what we have already,” Reed said Wednesday during a meeting of the Airport Commission.
Plans call for extending the concrete primary runway 1,101 feet, bringing its total length to 6,600 feet.
