YESCO fabricated and installed more than 4,200 signs as part of Salt Lake City International Airport’s recent major redevelopment project.

“As Salt Lake City International establishes itself as a hub airport, we’re honored for our signage to be part of this more efficient and sustainable facility,” said Jeff Young, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, YESCO. “It’s gratifying to know our work will having a lasting impact on travelers for years to come.”

Encompassing more than 23,000 man-hours of work over the course of four years, the project included the installation of 526 wayfinding signs and 3,707 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) code-related signs throughout the airport.

The first segment of the new airport opened, Concourse A-west, opened on Sept. 15, safely welcoming its first flight and passengers aboard Delta Air Lines. Concourse B-west is set to open Oct. 27 and will serve Alaska, American, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest and United airlines passengers.
