Denver International Airport Receives Airport Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award
Denver International Airport (DEN) is proud to announce that it has been honored with the prestigious Airport Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award from International Airport Review. The award celebrates airports that have implemented inclusive policies and practices to ensure equal opportunities for all employes and are committed to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive environment that reflects the needs and values of the local community and traveling public.
The Airport Honour Awards, held at the International Airport Summit in London earlier this month, brought together industry leaders, innovators, and decision-makers to celebrate airports that go above and beyond in delivering a first-class passenger experience.
“We believe we are better when everyone has a seat at the table and when we respect and listen to all viewpoints. We’re grateful to be recognized for our work and will continue to use this momentum to further our equity work here at DEN,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said.
DEN has been at the forefront of promoting diversity and inclusion within the aviation sector. The airport has consistently strived to create an environment that embraces people from all walks of life, ensuring that every passenger feels welcome and valued. This award serves as a testament to DEN’s ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive culture.
Receiving the Airport Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award showcases the airport’s unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional passenger experience while prioritizing equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. DEN will continue to lead by example, setting new standards for the industry.
