Connie Gowder Named to the 2021 ACC Board of Directors

The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) is pleased to welcome Connie Gowder, president and CEO of Connico, to the ACC Board of Directors. She fills a vacancy left by the departure of Robin Baughman of VTC.

“ACC appreciates the valuable insights and contributions that Robin Baughman provided during her tenure on the Board of Directors,” said Larry Studdiford, president of Studdiford Technical Solutions, LLC and ACC Board Chair. “In filling this vacancy, Connie will provide unique and important perspectives, particularly as ACC seeks to implement its Strategic Plan. We look forward to having hert participate in the effort to help drive ACC’s future direction and strategic priorities.”

Gowder is the founder, president and CEO of Connico Incorporated, a leading, national construction consultancy that services the aviation, civil, transportation, institutional, commercial, and industrial markets.

Since founding Connico more than 30 years ago, Gowder has built a growing team of 16 professionals who assist owners, architects, engineers, and planners with cost estimating, program management, scheduling/phasing, project management and constructability planning. As the company’s president and CEO, she provides leadership and oversight on a wide array of major infrastructure projects that have transformed airports, roadways, and communities across the country.

An active leader in the industry, Gowder serves as the corporate board member of SEC-AAAE and is also a fellow member and Certified Cost Professional of AACE International.
