The Lee County Port Authority Announces New Director of Finance

He will begin his new position on April 16.

The Lee County Port Authority has named Dave Amdor, CPA, as the new Director of Finance. In this role, Amdor will be responsible for directing and managing the financial, accounting and budgetary functions for the Authority. He will also oversee and manage all financial aspects of the Authority’s Capital Improvement Plan. The Lee County Port Authority owns and operates Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers, Florida. He will begin his new position on Apr. 16.

Amdor is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience in both public and private accounting. He worked for the Omaha Airport Authority for nine years, most recently serving as Finance Manager. Other positions held include Controller and Assistant Controller. Amdor also worked for Deloitte & Touche, L.L.P. as Audit Senior. "I am thrilled to join the Lee County Port Authority team and look forward to contributing to the mission of providing a safe, convenient, comfortable and technologically advanced environment for air transportation in Southwest Florida,” said Amdor. “The upcoming terminal expansion and overall capital program make it an exciting time to join RSW."
