HIAA Welcomes Marie Manning as New Vice President Business Development and Chief Commercial Officer

HIAA is pleased to announce Marie Manning will be its executive team next month as vice president business development and chief commercial officer. 

Currently, Manning is the director, marketing and business development with St. John's International Airport Authority, a senior leadership role she has held for nearly 16 years. 

"We're thrilled to welcome Marie to HIAA as head of the commercial department," said Joyce Carter, president and CEO. "Marie's extensive airport experience in marketing, business development and air service-which has been recognized in the aviation industry locally and within North America- coupled with her natural leadership style make her the perfect addition to our team."

In her new position at HIAA, Manning will oversee the commercial department, which manages an important portfolio that includes air service development, cargo, real estate, airport experience, business development, corporate communications and marketing.

"I'm excited to take on this new role with HIAA," said Manning. "I've worked whit various team members at HIAA over the years and I know they're outstanding in their approach to air service and facility development with a focus on customer experience and innovation. I'm looking forward to being part of the team and contributing to the airport's continued success." 

Manning will officially join HIAA in her new role on Apr. 14. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Victoria.
