Following a national search and recruitment process, Spokane International Airport is pleased to introduce Drake Beaton as the director of properties and contracts. In this position, Drake will be responsible for negotiating, implementing, and managing leases and contracts as well as overseeing risk management and property development. He will be joining the team on Sep. 16.
Drake has a strong background in airport property management with previous roles at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Sacramento International Airport, ICF International, and most recently at Mineta San Jose International Airport. He has experience in property development, concession management, financial forecasting, facility planning, staff management and strategic partnership development.
Drake earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family, and they are looking forward to living in the beautiful Inland Northwest.
