For the first time in its history, the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR) has reached the milestone of one million passengers in a single year.

For the first time in its history, the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR) has reached the milestone of one million passengers in a single year.

A million passengers a year is a milestone not only for the airport, but for the community. It’s a symptom of a growing region and a strong local economy. MFR’s year-to-date passenger totals are up 12.31 percent over last year and MFR is anticipating continued growth in the coming years.

“Well done Rogue Valley,” says Airport Director Jerry Brienza. “Well done is better than well said and this celebration is for you. The Jackson County Staff, airlines, car rental agencies and many more at the Airport have had the honor and privilege to serve you over the years. We all thank you for your loyalty and support and appreciate your making 2018 the most successful year in the Airports history!”

MFR extends a special thank you to their County Commissioners and County Manager for their support in capital improvements which help keep the airport in good repair and allow it to expand to meet the need of its community. MFR also thank their community for its support, their air carriers and fixed base operators, who helped them achieve this milestone, and the local business community for supporting and using MFR for their travel needs.
