Brian Fuerst has been named a vice president in the Herndon, Virginia office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, Fuerst will serve as the firm’s aviation principal for the Southeast, responsible for expanding the firm’s aviation-related business in the region, which includes nine states in the Southeastern U.S.
Fuerst has extensive experience as a strategic business manager, responsible for business development and sales within the aviation industry. He has also managed airfield design and construction engineering projects, serving as project manager and lead civil engineer on a wide range of domestic and international airside and landside design and construction projects, ranging from general aviation facilities to large hub commercial service airports. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was the U.S. South regional aviation practice lead at an international engineering organization.
A licensed professional engineer in North Carolina, Texas and Virginia, Fuerst received a B.S. in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
