Allegiant Launches Nonstop Flights From Cleveland to Punta Gorda

Allegiant on Feb. 16, launches new nonstop service to southwest Florida via Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) from Cleveland. 

“We are excited to launch this new service from Cleveland, giving travelers a convenient, nonstop option to visit southwest Florida,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer. “We look forward to providing our customers great low fares to the Fort Myers area and contributing to more economic growth in the area.”

The new nonstop service between Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) will operate three times a week and bring nearly 14,500 additional visitors to southwest Florida. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can only be found at Allegiant.com.

“It’s great we can offer Cleveland service in addition to our current Ohio routes,” said Punta Gorda Airport President / CEO, James W. Parish. “Now Ohio residents can have a convenient, nonstop option to head to south Florida for a vacation."
