Norfolk International Airport (ORF) reported a 5.08 percent increase in passenger activity for the month of November with 266,639 passengers. This figure compares to a November 2015 passenger count of 253,748. November marks the 18th consecutive
month of year-over-year growth at ORF. For the January - November period, passenger activity has increased 5.93 percent versus the corresponding period in 2015.
In other activity, 5,691,127 pounds of cargo were shipped in and out of the airport during November. This represents a 27.24 percent increase versus November 2015, which saw 4,472,750 pounds of cargo shipped. For the January - November period, cargo activity has increased 10.37 percent versus the corresponding period in 2015.
The above-mentioned figures are a reflection of the service by the following scheduled airlines: American, Delta, Southwest, United and their regional airline partners. All-cargo carriers include FedEx, UPS and Mountain Air Cargo.
