Apr. 22—COLONIE — Tenants and concessionaires are seeking to fill dozens of jobs at the Albany International Airport job fair, to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. The event will take place at the Million Air hangar at 16 Jetway Drive at the airport.

At least four airlines — Allegiant, Delta, Frontier and United — are participating, along with concessionaires HMS Host and OHM, the Transportation Security Administration, rental car companies Avis, Budget and Enterprise; Paradies News and Gift Shops, AvPorts, Lansing Flight Support, and Million Air.

"As we cautiously emerge from the pandemic and air travel is experiencing a revival, the Airport along with the TSA, airlines, concessions, gift shops and rental car agencies have immediate employment opportunities for additional full and part-time employees," said Philip Calderone, CEO of the Albany County Airport Authority. "We encourage those of all ages including college students and seniors to consider our exciting Airport environment as they enter or reenter the workforce."

Air travel is rebounding as more individuals are fully vaccinated and travel and quarantine restrictions are eased.
