The Mitchell City Council will take action on approving an agreement aimed to upgrade the city’s airport runway during Tuesday’s meeting at City Hall.
A soils investigation is required to implement the design of the project before reconstruction of the runway. The city of Mitchell’s consulting engineers recommend American Engineering Testing, Inc. for completing the soil investigation at a cost of $12,570.
