FEMA Workers Arrive in Hawaii; Airports Remain Open

FEMA crews landed at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport which remains open. No airports are closed at this time, though visitors trying to leave the islands have been unlucky.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - About a dozen members of FEMA arrived in Honolulu from California Wednesday night. 

An official with the Federal Emergency Management Agency told the Associated Press the agency is prepared with several barges of food, water and supplies for the islands. 

FEMA crews landed at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport which remains open. No airports are closed at this time, though visitors trying to leave the islands have been unlucky.
