Aug. 9, 2018

Montevideo, Aug 8 (Prensa Latina) Uruguay's Carrasco International Airport has become the first in Latin America to have a modern 0.5 megawatt photovoltaic solar generation system.

With this installation, there were more than 90 microgeneration power plants in the small South American country, which only has a photovoltaic solar energy capacity of 200 megawatts, the authorities announced.
