HARTFORD, Ky. — Marty Tichenor, a member of the Ohio County Airport Board, came before the Ohio County Fiscal Court at its Mar. 27 meeting to give an update on the Ohio County Airport.
According to Tichenor, over a year ago, the airport didn’t have much going on, but now “on any given day, we have 17 aircraft” at the airport. The airport has 10 rental hangars and all are full with a waiting list of seven people.
The airport has a new fixed base operator, David Woosely, who offered his services, including aircraft inspections. Tichenor said the airport has been able to sell more fuel and see increased rental revenue due to Woosley’s services. Woosley is the owner of Leading Edge Aircraft Services LLC.
