MA: New Administration Building Coming to Plymouth Municipal Airport

Feb. 23, 2018

PLYMOUTH – Most visitors to Plymouth Municipal Airport probably don’t notice that the administration building juts farther out toward the runways than any other building.

But aviation officials are well aware the airport’s base of operations is a bit too close to the runway for an airport of its size. They’ve been looking for an answer for years, and a remedy is finally cleared for take-off.

Airport Manager Tom Maher said designs are drawn and bids will be sought sometime in April for a new administration building that will primarily be funded by the state. Construction of the new administration building will begin this summer and should be completed in the spring of 2019.
