TN: Memphis Airport Chief Aims for More Nonstops, Better Customer Service

Memphis International Airport will pursue new nonstop flights and sharpen its focus on customer service this year while embarking on its biggest physical overhaul in 55 years.

More training for employees and continued emphasis on winning the hearts and minds of Mid-South residents are also high on airport president and chief executive Scott Brockman’s to-do list for 2018.

The airport notched several milestones in 2017: moving toward a record volume of local passengers, continuing a six-year trend toward more affordable airfares and adding key flights like Air Canada’s Toronto service.
