Ken Carley, the assistant aviation and operations director for the Quad-City International Airport, is resigning to become the director at another airport.
Carley confirmed his resignation Wednesday but said he cannot disclose which airport until Jan. 1 when his new employer is planning an announcement. His last day at the Quad-City airport will be Jan. 31.
"A better opportunity for what I'm looking for just landed in my lap," said Carley, who has been at the Quad-City airport since Feb. 1, 2016.
