VA: Council Decides on Operator for Danville Regional Airport

General Aviation will offer services at Danville Regional Airport for at least another 18 months.

Danville City Council voted 6-3 during its meeting Tuesday night to approve a recommendation from a mayor-appointed Fixed-Base Operator Review Committee to keep General Aviation — which provides the services under a contract with the city — for another year and a half.

General Aviation, a family-owned business, has provided services at the airport since 1948.
