The Allegheny Airport Authority has named David Kellner as vice president, Facilities & Infrastructure. In this role, Kellner will provide leadership, strategic direction and operational planning for Facilities & Infrastructure, and Airline Services at both Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and Allegheny County Airport (AGC). He began his new position on Jan. 3.

Kellner brings over 28 years of management and operations experience in construction, facilities maintenance, environmental and energy initiatives. “I'm excited to join The Allegheny Airport Authority as it is like going home,” said Kellner. “I've found an organization that conducts business in a similar way to my experience and ideals and has an excellent reputation as evident by being ranked as one of the top medium sized airports in the world. It’s a great time to join the organization when they are moving forward with a $1.39B new terminal and are the first in the world to be 100% off grid.”

Kellner earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and went on to earn his master’s degree in engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. In addition, he is a Certified Facility Manager.
