Kenny Sommerkamp has joined the Charlotte, N.C. office of JE Dunn Construction as client solutions manager.
The University of Alabama alum will be responsible for business development in Charlotte, assisting JE Dunn’s continued efforts to build long-term strategic relationships with clients in the commercial office and industrial, aviation and healthcare markets.

Sommerkamp brings 18 years of industry experience to JE Dunn, in the fields of commercial construction, energy and automotive industries. He previously worked in commercial real estate as a broker and in project development.
“I am excited to join the JE Dunn team here in Charlotte. I had the privilege of getting to know some of team members here through previous job experiences and knew it would be a great fit for me,” commented Sommerkamp.
Sommerkamp holds memberships in the North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association, North Carolina Economic Development Association and National Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
Sommerkamp’s community engagement activities include serving on the board of the Hemby Children’s Hospital Golf Classic for the past 12 years, a ten-year relationship with Habitat for Humanity and six years of experience as a volunteer with 2nd Harvest Food Bank.
