The airline has also expanded into three new cities including Washington D.C.; El Paso, TX, and Destin, FL.

Allegiant Air announced on Tuesday that they have added 19 new routes and service to three new cities including Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport; Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport; and the El Paso International Airport.

"We are very excited to announce new routes within the communities we currently serve and to also have the opportunity to introduce our unique brand of ultra-low-cost travel to three brand-new cities," said Jude Bricker, Allegiant senior vice president of planning. "It's a great way to start 2016 by announcing these new flights, new cities and providing millions of travelers more options to vacation for less this year."

The company, which is typically known for its low fares, kicked off 2016 by adding the nonstop flights to its lineup. The service will begin starting from April 8, and the last nonstop flight will be added June 3.
