Indianapolis Airport will Add Two More Nonstop Flights to Florida this Summer
Southwest Airlines will offer two new flights to the Sunshine State beginning this summer, according to IND officials.
The Indianapolis International Airport announced Monday that the airline will add nonstop flights to Panama City and Miami starting in June.
“This news means more destinations, more choices, and a previous unserved market now accessible out of Indy and a first for Southwest to Miami,” Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority, said in a statement.

Southwest officials previously announced that the airline is adding another nonstop flight out of Indianapolis in June — to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The route will run daily except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, beginning June 6.
The nonstop flight to Panama City will depart from IND five times a week beginning June 6. Flights to Miami will depart Saturdays starting June 12.
Southwest currently offers nonstop flights from Indianapolis to Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Cancun, Dallas-Love Field, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Houston-Hobby, Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix, Fort Myers, Sarasota/ Bradenton and Tampa.
