Southwest Airlines to Offer Nonstop Flights from Eugene to Las Vegas and Oakland in August
Southwest Airlines will begin offering nonstop flights from the Eugene Airport to Oakland and Las Vegas beginning Aug. 29, according to a news release Thursday.
Eugene will become the second city in Oregon served by Southwest, which between 1994 and now had only served the Portland International Airport.
“We are excited for our new partnership with Southwest Airlines and are committed to ensuring a successful launch of service later this year,” Acting Eugene Airport Director Cathryn Stephens said. “Daily nonstop service to Oakland and Las Vegas will be welcome additions for passengers in the Western Oregon region.”
One-way fares for the new routes are as low as $49 for Las Vegas, and $39 for Oakland, according to the release.
