Southwest to Have Nonstop Rochester-to-Fort Lauderdale Flights Early 2020

Southwest Airlines will have non-stop flights from Rochester to destinations in Florida early next year.

Southwest will offer seasonal non-stop flights to Fort Lauderdale on select Saturdays in January and February of 2020, Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced on Sunday.

In addition, they will offer a similar service on select Saturdays in January and February to Fort Myers, expanding the service from the three Saturdays that were offered in the past two years to eight Saturdays in 2020.

The Rochester International Airport already offers daily non-stop flights to Orlando and weekend non-stop service to Tampa.
