Metrojet HK MRO Passes HKCAD AND U.S. FAA Audit

Oct. 6, 2021

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) station of Hong Kong-based Metrojet Limited (www.metrojet.com) recently passed two audits carried out by major governing bodies: Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) and the United States of America Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), allowing Metrojet to continue servicing B- and N-registered aircraft.

These two audit successes are the newest renewals to the already established certifications granted by the Aruba DCA, Bermuda BCAA, Canada TCCA, Cayman Island CAACI, Isle of Man IoMAR, Qatar QCAA and San Marino SMAR.

“Due to the travel restrictions imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. FAA auditors and our HK MRO team completed the audit via online applications, working around the clock to accommodate the time zone difference. This same dedication applies to how we serve our clients focusing on providing safe and quality business aviation services,” said Dave Yip, Metrojet’s general manager, MRO HK.

Established in 1997, Metrojet as part of the Kadoorie Group, pioneered business aviation services in Hong Kong and remains one of the foremost safety and customer-focused business jet operators and maintenance providers in the Asia Pacific region. The company provides all-inclusive aircraft management, charter, maintenance, and aviation consultancy services to its growing business aviation customer base.
