It has expanded its training center at Wilmington Air Park to accommodate increased demand for aviation maintenance training.

Jet Maintenance Consulting Corp (JMCC) has expanded its training center at Wilmington Air Park to accommodate increased demand for aviation maintenance training. JMCC has been a tenant at the Air Park since 2009 and has seen steady growth in their aviation training and engineering services. JMCC provides services to local and regional airlines including existing tenants at the Air Park.

JMCC has added 750 square feet of training space that includes a classroom where staff will provide instruction on commercial aircraft systems, avionics, structures, or components for airframes built by Boeing 7X7, DC-X (AKA Douglas), Bombardier, Embraer, BAE, and Airbus.

“With several of our customers and vendors located at Wilmington Air Park, this addition will allow us to continue to provide our customers with the resources they need while also expanding our available offerings,” said Joe Merry, owner of JMCC.

In addition to training course development and delivery, JMCC also provides engineering services including: ensuring FAA regulatory compliance, the development of customer aircraft technical publications, and the development of engineering authorizations to ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives issued by the FAA.

“JMCC has been a complement to the Air Park’s history and they are an important part of our future,” said Kevin Carver, Executive Director of Wilmington Air Park. “We are proud of their growth and we know our other aviation tenants appreciate JMCC’s commitment to air-industry training and education,” Carver added.
